BOLLHOST Refund Policy
At BOLLHOST, we are committed to providing exceptional services and products. If, for any reason, you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, our refund policy outlines the conditions under which you may be eligible for a refund. This policy applies to both our web hosting and licensing services. Please review the following terms carefully:
1. Eligibility for Refunds
1.1 Web Hosting Services
- New Users: Refunds are available only for first-time signups. If you cancel your managed shared hosting service within 7 days of purchase, you may be eligible for a refund, provided the cancellation is due to an issue related to our server. Refunds are not applicable for third-party apps and code.
- One Refund Per Customer: Refunds are limited to one per customer. Multiple services or multiple signups do not qualify for additional refunds.
- Non-Refundable Services: Refunds are not provided for the following services:
- Domain Name (Registration, Renewal & Transfer)
- Domain Privacy
- SSL Certificates
- Reseller Hosting
- VPS
- Dedicated Servers
- Clusters
- Addons
- Licenses
- Extra IPs
- Website Development Services
1.2 Product Upgrades/Downgrades
- Refunds are not granted for product upgrades or downgrades. Users are responsible for any actions related to their service changes.
1.3 Existing Customers
- Refunds will not be provided if you already have a product and then order a new one.
1.4 Service Suspension or Termination
- No refund will be issued if your service is suspended or terminated due to:
- Email Marketing/Email Abuse
- Inappropriate/Illegal/Immoral Activities
- Account Overuse
1.5 Payment Issues
- Refunds will not be applicable if the service is terminated due to payment issues. It is your responsibility to make timely payments to avoid suspension or termination of services.
1.6 Late Fees
- A late fee will be added to your invoice if payment is not made before suspension. This fee must be paid to reactivate the service.
2. Refunds for Licensing Services (BOLLHOST)
2.1 No Refunds
- All sales are final for licenses. BOLLHOST does not offer refunds for any products or services purchased unless the product is non-functional due to an issue on our end that we are unable to resolve.
2.2 Exceptions for Refunds
Refunds may be considered under the following conditions:
- Non-Functional Product: If the product is not working as advertised and our technical support team cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable time frame, you may be eligible for a refund.
- Refund Requests: All refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original purchase date. Requests made after this period will not be processed.
2.3 Refund Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact Support: Reach out to our customer support team at bollhost.com with your order details and a description of the issue you are experiencing.
- Verification: Our team will verify your claim and attempt to resolve the issue. You may be asked to provide additional information or perform certain troubleshooting steps.
- Approval: If our team determines that the product is non-functional due to an issue on our end, we will process a refund. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
2.4 Exclusions
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Change of Mind: If you no longer want the product after purchase.
- Misuse: If the product does not work due to incorrect installation or misuse.
- Compatibility: If the product is incompatible with your system or environment.
3. Payment and Activation
3.1 Instant Activation
- Accounts paid via credit card, debit card, net banking, or PayPal will be set up immediately once the payment is confirmed. Payments made via UPI, NEFT, or IMPS will be activated once the payment is confirmed.
3.2 Non-Refundable Payments
- Payments made through UPI, NEFT, or IMPS directly to our bank are non-refundable and will be added as credit to your hosting account.
4. Additional Terms
4.1 Domain Charges
- If your web hosting service includes a free domain name and you cancel the service, the standard domain charges will be deducted from the refund amount. If the refund amount is less than the domain name price, you will need to pay the difference or forfeit the domain. Domain transfer fees apply if you wish to transfer the domain to another provider.
4.2 Account Migration Charges
- If account migration is performed and you cancel the service within the first 7 days, a charge of $10 will be deducted from the refund amount.
4.3 Taxes and Fees
- Refunds will not cover taxes, setup fees, refund processing fees, postal charges, or payment processing charges.
5. Cancellation Process
5.1 Requesting a Refund
- To request a refund, submit a cancellation request through the client area within 7 days of purchase. Refund requests placed after 7 days will not be processed.
5.2 Processing Time
- Once the cancellation request is submitted, it will take 7 to 15 business days to complete the refund process.
5.3 Unpaid Invoices
- Unpaid invoices may result in the suspension or termination of your web hosting account. Suspended accounts will only be restored after clearing the outstanding invoice. Terminated accounts will not have their data restored.
5.4 Termination Reasons
Your hosting account may be terminated for the following reasons:
- You decide to discontinue the service.
- You fail to renew your account by the due date.
- You violate our Terms of Service.
- Potential fraud detected by our anti-fraud system.
5.5 Automatic Actions
- Our system generates invoices, service cancellations, suspensions, terminations, and late fee additions at 2:00 AM IST. It is your responsibility to manage your account and ensure timely payments to avoid disruptions.
5.6 Backup Responsibility
- It is strongly recommended that you maintain a backup copy of your hosting account. If your hosting account is terminated, all your files will be deleted from our servers, and BOLLHOST will not be liable for any data loss.
6. Additional Notes
6.1 Service Discontinuation
- If you decide to discontinue the service at any time during your subscription, your hosting account will be suspended immediately upon your request and terminated within 24 hours.
6.2 Expiration Cancellation
- If you request cancellation after your subscription expires, your hosting account will be suspended at the end of the subscription and terminated within 24 hours after the expiration date.
6.3 Fraud Prevention
- We have an anti-fraud system that monitors all orders. If potential fraud is detected, we will manually verify the order. If the required information is not provided, the account will be suspended and terminated immediately.
